Clear Cut Pictures have delivered full post-production on Flight MH370 for Vice Studios. This series re-examines the mysterious disappearance of the airliner after it took off from Kuala Lumpur in 2014.
Built from archive footage, interviews with airline experts and family members of passengers onboard the flight, Online Editor Jamie Home intricately interwove the materials to create a seamless sequence whilst Colourist, Mike Sanders worked in the grade to a create a cold and eery feel to the documentary whilst ensuring that specially-lit studio interviews blended with the diverse archive sources.
Andy Sears, Senior Dubbing Mixer elevated the three-part documentary with a mixture of carefully curated music and sound design. This was applied throughout to create an intense narrative and chilling energy that reflected the deep sense of unknown surrounding one of the biggest mysteries in aviation history.
